Once I was getting my last pedicure before giving birth and I was doing absolutely nothing (reading a magazine in a massage chair)... And I almost fainted from the heat. Mind you, I kept up with my water and snacks, the AC was on, and it still was an issue... So yeah, i think being super preggo at the peak of a hot summer definitely has more (serious) downsides. I was drinking water like crazy to combat dehydration, and at the same time going to the bathroom like every hour since baby was so big and really pressing on my bladder... Of course, that means I'll deal with being 9 months pregnant in July in the northeast so I guess I will see how I feel about it then.
