Both of us were on skates as soon as we could walk fairly well, and will probably do the same with LO. They said as long as they can walk well, technically, they can learn to skate. (but classes are for 3 and up) I've seen little kids my daughter's age skating sometimes. She's 2.5. We brought her once but forgot to bring her helmet so I was afraid of letting her go on her own.
