It does suck that we miss out on stuff when pregnant, but it's totally worth it! And really it just prepares you for your future... I can't ice skate now either b/c I'm always watching my baby. I wanted to play softball around that stage and my husband didn't want me to. </p> <p>The issue would be not so much that you could fall and harm the baby (which could happen but they are pretty protected) but if you fell and needed x-rays, surgery, etc that would be a lot to put the baby through. </p> <p>My friend fell at 39 weeks and ended up with a broken arm. She was in a soft cast for delivery and had to have surgery when the baby was 2 weeks old. I'm over 18 wks pregnant and feel fine. I was thinking of going but being very careful and jut kind of shuffle around the rink. I'm not a pro but we skate a few ones a yer and the only times I have fallen is if me and my husband are playing around. Is it stupid to go if I know I could fall? </p>
