I would also suggest a book, or it she doesn't have a tablet, maybe lend her one with movies to her taste on it. I have heard the chemo chair can be very boring and she might welcome something to take her mind off it. If she suffers nausea from the chemo, maybe some ginger candies or something to help her with that? When a good friend of mine was going through chemo he loved bringing treats to share with nurses and other patients (like a big tub of brownies or something) - so candy or other junk food, while she might not be up for eating them at the moment, are a good addition even for sharing purposes. A lot of times, chemo patients have hot and cold flashes from their treatments and hospitals tend to be cold, so having something soft and cozy to curl up with can be comforting. I want to send her a mini care package and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for things to incude. This is the first person close to me who has gone through something like this, so I am sorta at a loss. I am only wanting to spend about $20, so probably no gift cards. Any ideas? </p>
