The nurses leant us a second bassinet and they even swaddled the doll all tight just like her new baby sister. She was so proud to take home her new baby and still talks about it today. But, we got her a Tigey stuffed animal (from Daniel Tiger) and she loves it. She will recite that the baby gave it to her but who knows. And we had a cupcake. The baby "gave" him a basket with a teddy bear, a basketball (we had a basketball hoop too that we set up when we got home), and a couple toy cars. This is likely going to be given from baby at the hospital, granted the kids are both healthy to visit after delivery later this month. </p> <p>When DS was born, "he" gifted DD a little bag with a new puzzle, crayons, coloring book, stickers, etc. She was only 18 months so she would've been fascinated with just about anything.. </p> <p>Not sure what to gift the kiddos this time since they are a bit older and just received a fair amount of new stuff over Christmas... Any ideas? I did read somewhere on the boards giving them cupcakes to celebrate the baby's birth day, which I think the kids will enjoy haha. </p>
