My parents used to record the TV coverage of the ball dropping in NYC, and then show it to me and my siblings the next day. She's certainly still too young for that, but it might make a fun background for photos the next day!

We do a small party with our kids. We get the cheap hats and glasses and some party poppers. We take fun pictures and have a special treat. Last year we used my moms chocolate fountain. Then it's bed and bath at s reasonable time. Last year they got yo stay up until 8 instead of 7.

I would just put a cute outfit on her, take some cute pictures with party hats on and call it a day. Not much you can do with a baby.

At this age, she's too young to understand. We're just going to do our normal bedtime routine and get her to sleep by her normal 7pm bedtime.

We are going over to my SILs house and putting her in a pack and play. She should sleep well in a back bedroom.

This will be our first new year with DD. She's 7 months and so far hasnt been happy during the past holiday celebrations. It's been a combo of being sick and overwhelmed by all the extra set of eyes and arms that want to hold her. Needless to say we will be celebrating New Years in the comfort of our home. I'm sure she'll be asleep by midnight but I want to include her in a mini pre-new years eve celebration. Any ideas of how me and DH can celebrate New Year's Eve or New Year's Day with a 7 month old?
