Really you child put the glue on yourself and have her stuck things to it, or just use stickers. I think they put masking tape in the shape they wanted (like, jack o lantern face, or initials) then let their daughter go crazy with finger paint. I mean, if her hands are covered in paint, obviously you will be right there. I would stand behind her and have someone else hold the pumpkin. You would have two hands free to grab her two hands if they headed to her mouth. She doesn't like to color (just wrote a post on this) or I'd hand her a marker and let her go at it on the pumpkin. I'd love to get her involved in decorating the pumpkin in some way, but I'm not sure how. Any ideas? </p>
