I started watching one about Alaskan Homesteaders on Netflix, and it is good, but some of the "drama" they basically make up. Like it will be 10F outside, and they will be dressed appropriately, and the narrator will go on for three minutes about how they could be getting hypothermia at ANY MINUTE and get frostbite and die. I've been out at that temperature. Yes, there are risks, but if you are dressed right and aren't out for 5,000 years you aren't in quite the imminent danger they like to make it seem like.
