@tororojo: Yep! I'm such a bad mommy... When DH sees me poking or moving my tummy he yells at me lol. Or if I'm home, laying on my side gets him moving. I think I can just feel him press against me better when there's something on my tummy, like my hand or the bed.

FWIW, I still haven't gotten rib kicks! His knees are in my right side and his feet are curved around (according to the ultrasound pics yesterday, one of his feet is up by his head!) so idk if I will. It was making me paranoid though that I hadn't had them! How sick is that? Wishing to get kicked in the ribs so you can feel like everything is ok...

Ha yeah I used to eat sugar if she was quiet for too long, or drink something hot then cold to shock her into moving.

@mrbee: @Mrs. Blue: How did you guys do the flashlight test? I've heard that they'll respond to light but haven't tried it.

Mine often goes hours without moving! But she has a distinct pattern and is often active around 9am and 4pm and sometimes after I eat.

@mrbee: My babies are immune to this. It never works on them.

I get paranoid if I realize that I haven't noticed kicks for a few hours! Couldn't remember feeling any since before lunch so I had a handful of M&Ms and started sipping a Coke Zero and BAM! we've got one active baby kicking the crap out of my cervix and butt parts. Flip, baby, flip! (although maybe this is more pleasant than rib kicks? I haven't gotten those yet)
