There was a little delay in the tubes filling up with dye, but the radiologist said it was probably that some of the dye leaked out. He said everything looked fine. The pain wasn't too bad. I feel a little tired/lightheaded, but I'm using that as an excuse to catch up on TV. I felt the exact same way and unfortunately, had the "everything is perfect" result. So we fell into the unexplained infertility category and went to IVF the next cycle. </p> <p>Either way, for you, I hope you get some answers and come up with a plan! I've read some threads saying it isn't that bad, but I'm so scared that there will be something really wrong. I'm also a little worried it will be perfect, and we will never figure out why it isn't working. I guess the hope is that they are slightly blocked and the HSG fixes it.</p> <p>DH is out of town til tomorrow night, but easily available by phone. The hospital is less than a mile from my parents' house, and my mom is on stand-by if I need her. My husband has Male Factor issues. When we got the diagnosis last year (April 2014), he started taking Fertilaid, Count Boost and Motility Boost supplements. In November, he also started to get acupuncture once a week. After this cycle we planned to go to a fertility clinic and start the IVF process. I noticed AF was a couple days late so I took a pregnancy test and almost fell down! I don't know if it was just the supplements, the acupuncture or a combination of both. I have procrastinated on an HSG for a number of reasons: my doc thinks it is highly unlikely to be the cause, I keep thinking of something else that might work, and then it never does. I also have this huge mental block about doing it, and DH thinks it's fear. I called today and left a VM with my OB/GYN. Also, DH hasn't had a SA in a while, so my doc wants him to repeat that. If all those are ok, we will officially be unexplained IF (boo!) and probably go back to femara. (I had done one cycle on it right before I changed doctors.) I'm also making a plan of everything I can do to improve my fertility- yoga, herbs, fertility massage- my kitchen sink plan.
