@kentuckygirl: (You probably won't read this, but...) Sorry to hear that! Waiting is so difficult! I hope the next TTC cycle is worth the wait!

So as of my last update I thought I was going to be able to actively TTC on my upcoming cycle since my cyst was much smaller. Unfortunately my estrogen levels are too high. I am still waiting on AF after being on BC last cycle. Today is CD 39 and I typically have been having around 26 day cycles for the past year and a half so I am frustrated. Looks like whenever my next cycle starts I will probably have to go back on BC for another cycle. So I am stuck waiting again. I will be thinking of you all but probably not be around HB much. I need to create some distance since I can't even try for quite a few weeks. Take care my friends, I'll be back in a month or so!

@raintreebee: yay that's great news! I'm glad you don't have to wait, and I'm sure you've heard this a million times in the last few days, but I've heard that FETs are sometimes more successful because you're not packed full of fertility meds.

@spaniellove: Glad that the pregnancy seems to be starting off well. Maybe try to exorcize the word "infertile" from your description of yourself? It might help you heal a bit. In C + B terms, see a positive energy field surrounding it ;)

Thats one thing I'm glad I haven't labeled myself as, I try to think of it as a challenge instead of an improbability.

@PastaAndPotato: That must be so exciting to know that the injections and meds are almost behind you! As @raintreebee asked, are the E2 and follicles still in a reasonable ratio? I think your E2 is supposed to be around 200 for every mature follicle.

@raintreebee: Is your RE making you downreg and then doing the transfer or talking about transferring in a couple weeks? How do you feel about the plan?

@Mrs.Someone: I feel a little better after getting my second beta and knowing the doubling time is good, but am still struggling with the thought patterns I've developed as an infertile. Like putting up a mental wall when it comes to anything related to babies or pregnancy.

Thank you everyone for thinking of me. It's been a rough few days, but I am feeling better. Our doctor called and said we shouldn't think of the cycle being over since we only transferred one, and we still have two beautiful embryos to whom we need to give a chance. So now the plan is to go straight into a FET cycle this month (where they transfer the frozen embryo).

@PastaAndPotato: Excited that your ER is on Friday. My E2s didn't dipped but at one point they didn't rise as much as we'd hoped. My doc upped the meds a little, and then the E2s started to rise significantly. What is your E2 compared to # of follicles? I think the E2 can rise a lot in a short amount of time.

hey ladies, just wanted to check-in. today is day 11 of stims, and it looks like i'll probably be triggering tonight w/ ER on friday! the only concern that they have is that my E2s dipped a little yesterday, so we're making sure today that they go back up. did anyone else have this happen? my doc said that its not a "terrible" thing, that things are still looking "good" just not "ideal." so, fingers crossed that this all works out

@Suzimo: @ineebee: @Shutterbug: Thanks ladies! The ND got a laugh out of "dildo cam" too! We agreed that its probably best she didn't use the term with patients though :)

@spaniellove: I agree, but I'm going to wait until all the tests are in and see what turns up. Of course if its a blocked tube or something, it may not be necessary. How are you feeling today btw?

I just had a "what's next" appointment with my ND. She ordered a pelvic ultrasound, HSG, SA, and is re-doing the cd3 and 7dpo labwork. She also suggested consulting with an RE to see what they would suggest (even if I didn't want to do anything yet). So it will take a month or so for all the stuff to get done, then (if not pregnant) we'll figure out a treatment plan. At that point I'll decide whether or not to make an appointment with an RE. I like that the ND is very proactive with testing to figure out whats going on.

Time to make my appointment with the dildo cam, yay!
