I had a dream last night I was preggo so took the plunge a day before beta. Stick turned nice, dark positive (at least compared to my chemical). Called clinic to get early beta, which came back at 41 (8dp5dt). Not a stellar result but within normal range I think and much better than my chemical at this stage last time (15.8). So nervous for Beta #2 on Friday so I am not celebrating yet!</p> <p>@MK0180: If this turns out not to stick, I plan on doing something very similiar--focus on getting healthy and drinking wine. I'm also on my 3rd IUI! I never heard of a half-shot of Ovidrel to thicken lining! I had a lining issue this time around and I got prescribed an estrogen suppository. Then, after the IUI, I was told to continue the estrogen and add on the progesterone suppository. It's been better this cycle - last cycle with my 2nd IUI, I knew it didn't work the moment the IUI was done. I love that :)</p> <p>So, DH and I discussed and we decided that if this IUI doesn't work, we're going to pause on any further meds and treatments. While IUIs are not that expensive compared to IVF and other protocols, having them not work month after month does add up along with the Ovidrel shots I have to take. So, we may take the rest of the summer off since we have some trips planned that'll interfere with the timing of things and may resume our options in fall.
