@winter_wonder: I saw your other post and thought I would say, yay for completing your HSG and I do hope your first IUI yields great results!

Alright ladies, so I guess I was wrong about being in the TWW now…For the first time on an unmedicated cycle, I got a blazing positive OPK. The past 2 days, it looked like I had a positive OPK, but this morning, the test line showed up so much quicker than the control line!

@mrs bunchy: I never lied down after putting in crinone. That stuff is remarkably good at staying put (unlike Endometrin, which melts into liquid and comes out in gushes, ick) My one piece of crinone advice is to (sorry, so gross) clean it out every 2-3 days because you can get a build up of residue up there, which can cause the new stuff not to absorb as well (I think).

Ok progesterone users...

Crinone-totally sick!! How long after do I need to lay down after putting in the gel- or does it even matter?

Working all day together and I swear each time I pee those dried up progesterone balls are everywhere. Ack!

@bluestriped bee: I like @sweetooth: idea, it might help break that wall!

I think there are 2 reasons she isn't saying anything to you, either she is affraid to hurt you or she is waiting until a safer point in her pregnancy becaubecause of her m/c

But since you are friends on FF I think that is a good ice breaker, who knows she might be praying for you to say it hoping you sae FF!

She is your sister only you know how to go about it with her.

I'm thinking it might be your time too! Best of luck to you and I'm. Praying in my lurking I see your BFP :))))))

It's exhausting to always be on top of it yourself when you feel like the doctor's office has it all written down right there, and they should be right in step with you. // Hold on to your hope!

@bluestriped bee: I think it's great that your sister is thinking of you. And everything you're saying proves that you care about her too. I think it's nice of you to think about the stress it might cause her to share this news with you. Especially after she experienced a m/c. I know it may seem selfish - but thinking about your state of mind when you get your IUI results is just the way it is in the land of IF.

I'd keep it short and simple like @Shutterbug: said. But I would also say something about where you're at in the process - if you want to share that with her. So maybe:

So remember how we're following each other on FF? I saw that you're pregnant and I wanted to tell you that I know and I'm so happy for you.

I am currently waiting to find out the results from my latest IUI and I hope that we can share this experience of pregnancy together.

I don't know...something like that? That way she knows where you're at too. I feel like that's what my sister wasn't aware of, because I hadn't told her. And then she broke my heart by sharing her pregnancy news right at a seriously fragile time in my infertility journey. And I was a wreck.

lazypanda: Yosemite in the fall
Mrs.Bunchy: new SUV
bluestripedbee: Disney World in August!
Kelli_Deluxe: seeing DH during long weekend and in September during fertile window before deployment; moving to AZ
Warbler: road trip

@TheSwissWifeStyle: Happy Birthday!
@FliegepilzHut: I started with 150mg of clomid which yields 2 follicles.
@babycanuck: I hope the daily ultrasounds are going well.

Sorry if I've missed anyone else, this flipping back and forth between the pages is time consuming. :silly:

I'm not entirely sure but I may be entering the TWW now. Sorry if TMI, but for the past few days I've had copious EWCM and now its gone. For the past 6 months, it was the RE who told me when I ovulated and when I can POAS. So weird to be back to that first year of TTC where I would constantly question when I ovulated and when I could test. My RE wants me to take a progesterone test on CD28 and if I don't get AF by CD35, he wants me to start provera to induce my period and start the clomid IUI cycle.

@lazypanda: FX for your Clomid/IUI cycle! (Love that your insurance covers so much of your IF treatment! I just wish it would cover acupuncture/TCM as well...)

@bluestriped bee: Sorry if I sounded overly negative! I second what @lazypanda: said-- as long as you are careful to look at things from her perspective, it'll turn out right!

@Kelli_Deluxe: @FliegepilzHut: @bluestriped bee: Thanks, DH and I don't really want to start with the newer clinic just yet. We'll go through one more round of clomid IUI with our current RE and then revisit having to go to the clinic closer to work (it's 20 minutes away from work vs an hr and a half). I'm waiting for an acupuncturist to get back to me so I can discuss what they can provide if I were to take a break from the RE. I was checking those prices and its about $150 for the initial consult and 20 min acupuncture session. Unfortunately, TCM is not covered by my insurance.

@MrsWin: I have the option to go straight to IVF if I'd like to. Unfortunately, that's not covered by my insurance so we'd have to have the 15k-20k up front and we'd be switching REs to a completely different hospital than the one we're currently at. I know DH and I will be ok with paying that, but its the time constant monitoring appointments and work conflict that makes it difficult. Right now, labs are free, IUI is only $10 and u/s are free.

@Kelli_Deluxe: those pictures are gorgeous!

@bluestriped bee: Since you are carefully thinking about how best to approach your sister about her news, I definitely think that is a caring gesture and definitely not selfish. I also like @shutterbug: suggestion. I do hope you get your BFP soon though so you can share being pregnant together. :goodluck:

@mrs bunchy: HSG only cycle?? Ooo, you give me hope! That HCG number sounds awesome! Lots of doubling and sticky thoughts!

@Boopers: I'm sorry you had a crummy ultrasound session. I hope your RE consult goes well! :goodluck:

@bhbee: I'm so happy you no longer need all your wondfos! I hope you're all settled in with your move.

@winter_wonder: Thank you! IF really does suck! It complicates things so much and I hate it.

I love my sister but if she were to call me or text me after a BFN, I think I would just cry. I probably wouldn't answer the phone in fear of what she could be calling about.

So my sisters and I (including my brother) pretty much only text each other. We only 'see' each other when I travel home 2 times a year. I guess I could say we aren't big talkers. My older sister does call me now and then to talk to me. This same sister is someone who could talk your ear off. (This sister is not the pregnant one.) So, we are fairly independent and always have been. Ha.
