He is leaving the practice :( I was so bummed to hear this. He is really nice and I feel comfortable with him. This will be our 2nd RE switch in the past 2 years now. Aside from that, he doesn't feel that DH and I have given IUI's enough of a shot yet. He said he recommends at least 3 (we have done 2), but no more than 6 (unless you don't want to move to IVF). DH and I are thinking 4 will proabbly be our max.</p> <p>I talked to him a little bit about injectables, and he felt that for only a slight increase in our odds, it was not worth the steep price tag. He said he would rather see us save our money for IVF if that's the route we wanted to take.</p> <p>It was a good appointment. Super easy and I barely felt it! My doctor said it's "little" and "requires manipulation". They didn't have to use a clamp to get it open though -- THANK GOD.
