They definitely helped me when I was trying the first time around. We've been trying for almost a year for #2 &amp; I recently went back to acupuncture in the hopes that we may conceive again. DH and I were hoping to have kids close together so that family could help with childcare. I'm hoping we'll be fortunate enough to get pregnant with acupuncture alone as we no longer have IF coverage. </p> <p>My favorite trip would have to be Italy as well. I was only 14, but it was really awesome getting to know family we hadn't met and I think we bonded as a family then too. </p> <p>With DH, we've done a lot of shorter trips that have all had highlights. He's really good at finding out what locals do so trips aren't completely touristy. </p> <p>My update: We're NTNP for now until we feel more ready to try again. I'll be going for O+7 bloodwork soon though (Monday I think) so we can at least get my hormones under control so I feel more normal. I also started therapy today. This was in June of 2014. It was a wine vacation for sure! We went to Napa, Sanoma (my personal fav), and Livermore. It was just nice to spend quality time with family I hardly ever get to see. </p> <p>Update: Just got a BFP from my FET on the 22nd. I'm excited and hopeful. Praying to see the line continue to get dark and my little bean keeps growing! I'm an overanalyzer (totally wish I was a go with the flow kinda gal), so I'm throwing away my sticks so I can't compare!!! 😂😂 Beta is 10/4 (basically a lifetime away)! </p> <p>@PurplePumps: That sounds amazing!!! @LibbyLou: So romantic!! We spent a week in Mexico and just lazed around. We actually stayed in 3 different hotels just for the heck of it. It was my first trip as an adult without a job (I had quit mine a few weeks prior) and a vacation without a job is the best kind of vacation. No email to check, nothing nagging you in the back of your mind. We just swam and lounged and drank all day. Lots of naps and great dinners. We were just so relaxed!</p> <p>My update:<br /> I'm on day 3 since my egg retrival and just waiting patiently! This is for anyone going through any form of infertility/treatment. Whether you're in the diagnosis stage or waiting for your embryo transfer, this is the place to give a weekly update so we all have a place to reference key dates and status for each other without having to scan pages and pages. Chatting/discussion about specifics would still happen in the IVF thread, 6+ months TTC, etc. It's also an opportunity for those in the earlier stages of infertility to get a glimpse of what may come from those in the later stages.<br /> We'll give this a few weeks and if it doesn't really take off, no big deal. </p> <p>We also used to ask one or two more light-hearted questions :-)</p> <p>What's the best vacation you've ever taken and why?<br /> Updates? </p>
