My husband has most holidays off and he totally sent the kids in today and does on the holidays. He will usually pick them up slightly earlier. He uses the days for some "him" time and is doing some chores around the house. </p> <p>I have to say I have some serious jealously of him right now. I would absolutely love a "free" day. It's rare that I ever get a day to myself and while I love him and love seeing him, I also love having ME time, too. I'm a better mother when we are together. And over the summer when I have off for the whole summer we're going to enroll him in daycare part time 2 to 3 days a week so that he his schedule is still kind of consistent and it doesn't throw him off when he goes back full-time in the fall. This year it was a really hard transition with him having been home with me all summer.
