@mrswin: I could be wrong, but I think femara is generally better at getting women to O a single good egg, hence the much lower twinning rate when compared to clomid which stimulates the ovaries to often have >1.

@spaniellove: Yes 12.9 but I am in Canada so maybe they use a different measurement like you suggested. I just know it was low but just boarder line from what my doc said. Your RE seems to think outside the box, where I feel like my RE just follows "typical" protocol for treatment.

@mrs. bird: Thanks. If we decide to do another cycle then I will ask about adjusting the start date but I didn't respond well to Femera only getting 2 follicles the first cycle and one huge one the next. They were talking about me trying Clomid but I'm not sure because some RE's don't recommend Clomid for endo.....

femara leaves your system quickly, unlike clomid. it's completely gone within 2 days i believe. it hasn't made me O that early, but i wasn't Oing prior to taking it. I've Oed around day 15 when doing a 5 days treatment starting on day 3, but i've heard of other people starting on day 5 to allow more time for the follicle to develop so maybe you'd do better on that schedule. def something to ask your dr about.

@mrswin: Your AMH was 12.9? And not 1.29 or .129? Oh wait...are you in a country that uses different units of measurement? I asked about all these things because I tend to ovulate early too (between CD11 and 14), and my new RE commented that the egg might not be maturing completely. Sure enough, the one cycle that I ovulated late was the cycle I had a BFP. I think he wanted to just do ultrasounds and minimal amounts of meds (like Ganirelix to hold off ovulation) to see if he could get the follicle to mature around the right time.

@spaniellove: Based on my notes my AMH was 12.9 when it was tested. My first IUI my follicles were 18mm and 22mm at trigger and the second I only got one follicle that was 26mm at trigger.

@mrswin: I have a couple more questions for you in that case...do you remember how big your follicles were when you triggered for IUI? And do you know what your antral follicle count is?

@Mrs.Someone: Oh I didn't even think about that possibility...

@TheReelDeal: I thought I had read something similar online before but I couldn't find it.

@spaniellove: I didn't notice an fertile CM which is why I didn't track any although I generally don't have much anyway. I have talked to the RE about my early O and he was pretty non-committal but given that my AMH was a bit low so it could be that too....

Your temps are definitely rising...did you have any fertile CM? Are you being monitored this cycle or are you using OPKs? CD7 sounds early but I noticed you do tend to O early so being a few days earlier could put you around there.

ETA: Has your RE said anything about your tendency to O early?

It's very possible. Drugs like Femera and Clomid can stay in your system for up to 6 weeks and impact your unmedicated cycles.

No idea about Femera, but Progesterone does prolong AF from starting, even though the egg will start developing. It could be a reason why this happened?

Does anyone know if taking Femera the last two cycle would have cause me to ovulate really early this cycle?

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrswin

Based on my temps it looks like I may have ovulated on CD7 (WTF??!!) but I don't this FF can determine a coverline since I didn't temp through AF. I have always ovulated CD12-15 during un-medicated cycles so this is throwing me off big time.

Any thoughts?
