It sucked for a long time, not gonna lie. Even if for 15 mins in the house. I think that it really helped. Awful. She just screamed until she fell asleep. And for 3 -4 weeks in there, she wouldn't fall asleep. Just screamed, even for the 45 min drive back from my parents. He started hating it around 2 months, and it took until he was 8 months or so before he was ok with it. Like screaming and crying as soon as we put him in. It was AWFUL! But he got over it eventually and I learned to keep the windows down and the music up to try and block him out a bit. Nothing I tried worked. Toys, mirror, sound/no sound, pacifier, etc...it was all a waste. I just ordered a convertible seat and installed it and so far, it's been great! I think it's being able to be more upright and sit up that helps her. Then, something just clicked and the only time she fusses in it is when she is hungry or really, really tired.
