Thanks everyone! I'm hoping we just start with CD3 blood work/US and move forward like any other cycle. We already know what worked and what my issues are, I'm not sure what benefit would be gained from further diagnostic testing.

@sweetooth: Hey stranger, I was hoping you'd reply! I hope everything's going well in anticipation for baby #2 :).

Thanks for posting, this is a great question!
I'm still dragging my feet on scheduling a consult for the 2nd LO. I have fleeting moments of wanting to start now, but overall I really want to wait until he's 12-18 months to get started. I want to enjoy my LO by himself. And I'm dreading IVF again. DREADING. But I just know my RE will urge me to get started sooner rather than later. And my husband already wants to start now. I'm afraid I'll get sucked in :-)
But I've often wondered how much retesting we'd have to do. We know exactly what my issue is (chromosomal) and what worked the first time. So it would be so annoying to do it all over again.
Sorry, rambling!

We had to do std testing again and sperm analysis. Also a pap. I didn't have to do an hcg, injectables training, day 3 bloodwork, etc.

Best of luck. I am finding infertility the second time around to be difficult even though I am so grateful for my son.

My clinic made me do everything again... All the blood tests, ultrasound, sonogram. I had been dreading it but they were so much more positive that time, since I'd already had a successful pregnancy by that point. It wasn't as bad as I'd imagined.

We just had to do the bloodwork again and then jumped right back into it! We used the same exact protocol as when we got pregnant with LO1 and were pregnant with LO 2 on the 2nd cycle!

We had to re-do a bunch of out of date tests, have another ultrasound to check on the PCOS status after having Georgia... and just generally make a new plan of action. :)

Hey there :) When I returned to the RE my husband and I had to redo bloodwork, have the results from my latest pap, and then schedule a saline sonogram, along with the typical 3-day bw/internal ultrasound. It took us about a month to get through everything before we could jump back into treatments. (I was so glad I went ahead and had my pap taken care of in advance or that may have delayed things further)

As for treatments, we didn't have to talk about options. We jumped right back in to what worked. Except this time instead of Bravelle, we used Gonal-F (that's when I messaged you about the pen :) It took us 2 cycles of injections and IUI, and now I'm 30 weeks pregnant!

Best of luck to you - I hope the process is quick and you're on your way to another beautiful baby soon.

I just to update my bloodwork and do a water sonogram to make sure everything was still ok, but then we jumped right in.

Hey IF-ers, I'm wondering if anyone has experience going back to the RE after having successful interventions? I have PCOS and pretty much don't ovulate on my own. I had success with TI, 7mg Femara, 75iu Gonal-F, and trigger shot. I'm hoping to start up the same exact protocol with my RE this summer. I made a consultation for the middle of June, so I'm guessing by July we could have our first cycle.

Does anyone have any experience to share for how it worked with going back to the RE? Were they able to just pick up where you left off, or were there additional steps involved?
