That is how your breasts know to make more. Do you have access to a manual pump? This happened to me, and I had to rent a hospital grade pump for a month to get my breasts to respond to a pump again. Try watching videos or looking at photos of your baby while pumping. Though if you get some through hand expression, there may be something wrong with your pump - perhaps a valve needs to be replaced or adjusted? I started taking fenugreek and blessed thistle a day or two after we sleep trained, I also pump right before I go to sleep. The past week or so I've gotten nothing from the pump, not even a drop! I'll get some milk if I hand express though so is there something wrong with my pump?? If nothing comes out, is pumping still helping my supply? </p>
