She basically had a slight rash on her torso, it was going around daycare and that was doctor's best guess. Well, a day later I got it. Sores on my hands and feet. Literally his hands, feet and mouth were covered. He lost all finger and toe nails. DS1 just got over a very mild case of HFM (maybe 8 totally painless blisters on his hands). Now the baby has it, and it's just awful (fever, sores in his mouth making it hard to swallow, etc). We had three extra family adults in our house. No adults got it. DH had two warts frozen Friday and he initially thought his body was infested with warts overnight. Please tell me that isn't a thing. I think it's pretty bad HFM and he's going to the doctor today. </p> <p>The LOs had some disease that caused sores in their mouth (negative for strep) and later finger &amp; toenail grossness about a month ago. They both had fevers last week and new have runny noses now but no sores.</p> <p>I asked DH not to touch the kids until we figure out what is going on. Is that an overreaction? I'm very busy at work now preparing for a launch and covering for a traveling coworker. I have to travel next week. I'm freaking out about what's coming. Has anyone had adults in the house have HFM without the kids having obvious symptoms? What about adults spreading it to other adults? </p>
