I'm an expat, from New Zealand, so realisitcally most of her travel will be back and forth between here in the midwest and NZ. I'd love for them to get to meet their relatives in Japan and Sweden. We have taken LO to Ireland twice so far - but all my family live there so we have a built in excuse. It is really great for kids. As LO gets older, I would like us to take more trips in Europe with Ireland as a home base but I have always had this idea that I would take my kid(s) to the Holy Land when they are close to graduating high school. It is something that I realllly want to do, but I know that there are safety concerns in some areas :( Hopefully that will change one day.
