Some people just love giving gifts and give to everyone they know. I know if I gave someone a gift for their LO, I wouldn't be expecting anything in return or even think twice about the fact they hadn't gotten anything for my LO. I give gifts because I like to. It's so tricky, I never want to be the one to START the kids gift-giving frenzy, so I feel like I always need to be ready to reciprocate!</p> <p>Maybe say nothing but thanks now and just give something the next time you see them, saying Santa wasn't quite ready yet when they stopped by....or do a little something at the next holiday (lunar new year, valentines ). I have a feeling a friend stopping by today will have something small for LO (just a suspicion), but we don't have anything for their LO. They just asked us a few minutes if they could stop by real quick, so going out and getting something in case isn't an option. What do you do in these situations? </p>
