She kept apologizing and asking if I was bored and I'm like...are you kidding?!? This is freaking amazing! I sat on a couch for 3 full hours! In the middle of the day! LO spends entire weeks with her grandparents a few times a year (one week in the summer, a week between Xmas and New Years, etc.) and there are no issues on either side. And she's 4 hours away, so not down the street or anything. My FIL asked to take the kids on Tuesday to sleepover, and I was so excited. Not so thrilled that he asked that morning, and I spent all morning getting food packed up (food allergies) for each meal. DH decided to take advantage of our kid free day, and he took off Wednesday so that we could go into the city and spend the day together.
