If it was one food of several (like say, mashed potatoes), I'd scrape it onto a plate and send that portion back and ask it to be replaced. Maybe state there was an issue with your meal and the manager on duty went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Keeping it somewhat vague so that ppl don't take advantage of the comped meals. Today, we were trying out a new restaurant and I found a red hair in my eggs benedict at brunch (I have brown hair). It made me totally queasy. I asked to have it taken back. The manager came over, apologized, removed two of the meals we ordered from our bill AND cut the bill in half :shocked: </p> <p>I felt kind of bad because a $100+ brunch turned into $30 just because of one hair. </p>
