Just to get a record of things. Otherwise, I'd suggest if you suspect things might be going downhill with your neighbour, get a notebook with bound pages, and start recording any strange occurences with them in case you need to show a pattern down the road. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/if-this-happened-to-you-what-would-you-think#post-1901114 Tue, 14 Oct 2014 19:34:43 +0000 mrs. bird 1901114@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>were the nails in the side wall of the tire or the tread? if they're in the side wall, that's obviously someone f'ing with the car, if they're in the tread, she could have driven through them days ago and just had one go flat, the nail acts as a plug, so it takes a long time to let the air out. if someone is going to take your tires out, they usually walk around the car puncturing each one, they don't usually carry a nail for each tire &amp; something to drive them in with, it's hard to put a nail in a tire, you have to hit it in with something, so you'd be carrying a handful of nails and a hammer or something to drive them in with, not very efficient. usually it's a knife or pick of some sort and they stab the side wall where it's thinest &amp; easiest to puncture. my tires were taken out last year, the officer &amp; i had a long discussion about how ppl take out tires (if they're really awful, they take them out while you're parked somewhere a tow truck can't get the car out &amp; it has to be driven on the rims out of the spot :bummed: ). </p> <p>either way, that really sucks, i'm sorry that happened to your mom, i hope they weren't expensive or new :( your neighbor sounds like a b*tch &amp; her son sounds equally delightful. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/if-this-happened-to-you-what-would-you-think#post-1901098 Tue, 14 Oct 2014 19:05:17 +0000 wonderstruck 1901098@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>Not much you can do without solid proof (I think? There are no nails in my driveway, my Husband is gone so there hasn't been anyone working in my driveway for 6 months.</p> <p>She had an "altercation" with my neighbor though (who is known to be a very nasty nasty woman with an equally nasty son whom I just found out was released from prison). Anyway the woman tried to run my Mom off the road on her way back home a couple days ago. She left her car at my house while we took my lo's to their dr appointment yesterday, then we went shopping. We were gone from 9am - 4pm. </p> <p>Would you think this was an odd coincidence or intentional? </p>
