We did not really think about the fact that we are going to end up with two kids that have birthdays about 3 weeks apart (Oct 12, 2013 for DD and Nov 1, 2016 is the due date for our second). His coworker's wife refused to plan around her husband's work (which is totally fair!), and they are due in June on literally the busiest day of the whole year! ETA: Our plan was only to avoid those months this year. If it had taken us longer to conceive, we wouldn't have stopped TTC at any point. We were trying to time it perfectly to be the least inconvenient for my coworkers. After 2 losses we ended up pregnant during my only 8 week "slow" period. It worked out perfectly, but a 10 month old would have been great too. For #2 we will try a similar strategy-- aim for a fall birthday.
