I upload from my iphone to Dropbox and to shutterfly. Then I back up to computer and to an external hard drive. Occasionally I burn CD's.

I am manic about saving photos both from my iPhone and DSLR. I have mine on my computer, a 500gb external hard drive AND, I signed up for an online photo hosting site called zenfolio. I have unlimited storage so all of my photos and videos get backed up there too. You can also make albums to share, which is fun. My husband is an IT nerd and always goes on about how no storage method is foolproof, which is why I backup in several places.

I haven't actually backed up since getting my mac because I can't figure out where the original picture files are.

i'm starting to get paranoid i'll lose pics if my computer ever crashes so I'm backing up...two questions:

1. if you have taken video, how are you able to save it?
2. after your import, do you delete your originals or save? i am deleting, but just curious!

any other tips or tricks?
