My parents were originally set on "one and done". I think life would have been a LOT easier for me if I had stayed an only. DH is the middle child with 2 siblings. We originally wanted 2 kids. But after having DD, we're thinking we're one and done.</p> <p>Sometimes I waiver, but some days I think of making the 2 "kid rooms" into one big one for her. She not even 15 months old, so it may change when she gets older.</p> <p>I have to mention that prior to her turning 1, I thought about this a lot! The siblings are very close and family gatherings are filled with love and laughter! I got along with his side immediately. I didn't like being an only child. I had a lonely, only child experience but matured quickly because of it. However, I made friends easily and still keep in touch with 2 of my childhood BFFs so having good friends really made up for the lack of siblings for me. I would love to have 3 or 4 kids but we had trouble conceiving so we will try for one more next year.
