But we are likely on track to have #1 only a few months (or less) before my 35th birthday, so that won't happen. Heck, I didn't have an age in mind when I wanted to start! I didn't want kids at all until suddenly I did, and then I got pregnant a month later. I'm turning 30 this year. DH wants to try for a biological child. That said, I'm 30 now, would like a 2-3 year gap between kids (we want 2) but we prob won't move for a little longer than that... I am 32 and have an almost 1 year old. I don't see us having more than one more so I don't feel any time pressure or desire to try soon. The first one took quite a few tries but I'm so happy with the end result that I don't think I'll feel the same pressure again. I know it's different for people who have real trouble but for us if we're just a little slow we can be patient for one more baby. My mom had my brother when she was in her early 40s. I wouldn't plan to do that, but I won't rule anything out. We might be done after this one, but who knows. And I'm 31 now.
