Okay so PB must stalk my internet posts lol...I JUST got an email for 20% off everything including furniture through tomorrow- so weird since they usually exclude furniture. So I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy 2. My husband made a really good point that we invested in hr furniture and got a size and quality she can use literally forever if she wanted, so we should complete the set while the pieces are available and just chalk it up to not having to buy her anymore furniture. Ever.
@looch: I always see cute stuff like that idea but I can't pull it off! I'm too preppy, haha...PB4LIFE, I'm not cool enough to think outside the design box:)

We only bought one, even though her bed is centred on her wall. We have a little Ikea table on the other side of her bed and have her FP dollhouse on top. I really like the way it looks - I think two bedside tables looks too grown up for a toddler/small child's room.

ETA to clarify: I don't consider the Ikea table another bedside table as it is significantly lower than her bed (you can't even see it behind her bed when standing at the door) and it's not right up against her bed.

Her bed is pushed up against a wall so we only got her one end table. But I'm so glad we did. It's extra storage and we have a lamp on it. She stores all of her scarves/gloves/hats and hair accessories in it.

If you have the space, I'd get two nightstands, but not matching ones, and not ones that go with the furniture. Maybe a mirrored one, and a pedestal in a fun color?

@PrincessBaby: can you get night stands from another store? Like maybe Target? Otherwise, I'd get one and put a bookshelf on the other side.

I personally wouldn't do it. I don't know any kid growing up who had two night stands.

We bought one because we plan to have his bed in a corner of the room! If it was centered i would def have one on each side. My ocdness wouldn't be able to handle the asymmetry! :P

Did you buy a bedside table for each side? When we bought DD's bed and dresser, I held off on the tables because I didn't know if I wanted 1 or 2. Well, I WANT 2 so it's symmetrical (her bed is centered on a wall), but the ones that match her bed are a fortune, so I hate the idea of forking out that much dough on bedside tables that are just for looks for the most part. I'm not saying I won't do it, just that it sucks!

Did you just buy two for the sake of symmetry, or if you bought one, what did you put on the other side to make it symmetrical?
