It took me 9 months to feel "normal," after baby #1 (minus all the stretch marks), but I actually bounced back a lot quicker after #2!

Now Im glad I got rid of most of my pre pregnancy clothes. I never lost all the weight with LO1 so I figured I wouldn't lose it from LO2 right away either, looks like the odds are making my nightmare a likely reality.

Same here. I bounced back and then some with LO1 and was pretty skinny when I got pregnant with LO2. I gained 10-15lbs more for the 2nd pregnancy and, at 6 months PP, I can tell I'm not all the way back to prepreg size yet (I don't weigh myself). I fit into my clothes for the most part, but things are still tight/fit differently.

@skibobrown: haha me too. I'm really lucky that walking and breastfeeding have me well below prepreg weight (with a squishy belly, to be fair). I have some time before I test this out for number two though!

Oh no! I'm sad I clicked on this thread. I guess I assumed it would be as easy to bounce back after #2.

It seemed easy to bounce back with pregnancy #1, but these last 5 stubborn pounds seem to be sticking around and won't go away after pregnancy #2. Although I think part of it is age and pregnancy, part of it is on me too - with two kids I'm more tired and less motivated to workout, so I can only squeeze in 2-3 workouts a week...

I haven't bounced back as quickly, mainly because my energy is lower. I have tried starting 30 Day Shred twice now, and I just can't get past the first workout!

I'm only 9 weeks pp but already notice a difference. With my first the weight just fell off and I actually was under my pre pregnancy weight, with this one I have 7 pounds that is just sticking around. Uuuuggghh!

Yes, it has been harder to lose weight! I need to amp up my exercise and diet...just cardio isn't going to help me this time!

After my 1st I lost all the weight and was back in a bikini - I didn't even really exercise much besides walking.

After #2 I lost weight but my hips are wider and my stomach is so flabby! And #2 is 3 yrs old!

Was it harder for you to bounce back after #2+ than it was with your 1st?
