She doesn't really act out - just looks miserable and wants hugs so I can't help but let my heart bleed for her. But then once I catch that cold or fever from them, I'm so miserable and suddenly understand why they were super crabby and uncooperative!</p> <p>I try to remember that lesson the next time they get sick, but somehow I can never hold onto that empathy!
