(She hasn't.) She also says she believes because why else are the cookies and milk gone in the morning. Ahhh, tender imaginative minds. I asked what her friends at school said about Santa and she said, Nothing. She told them she saw a video where a kid thought Santa was a doll. It was really a video about a kid who didn't believe in Elf on a shelf but they ignored her comment. LOL. I wondered if all parents tell their kids not to talk about it at school no matter what they believe as to not expose them to the 'other side.' Kids (at least many of them) really want to believe. </p> <p>I focus on the religious aspects/ kindness and giving for all of advent and up to Christmas Eve (when we attend services). But we really don't focus on the religious aspect. My oldest came home from school with a project that looked like a birthday cake. When I asked about it he said it was because it was "some baby's birthday."
