I have been using my gmail address personally and professionally for 5+ years so I have a ton of emails archived, and there is no way to transfer them to a new account. I did change my "display" email name so that it comes from my new name, but the email address remains the same. </p> <p>I know that you can create a new email address and have it forwarded to your old one, but that seemed really unnecessary. Occasionally the fact that my email address has a different name confuses people, but it's been fine.
