I'm doing OPKs, green tea, and now Fertility Friend added in. I think our first cycle, I misjudged my fertile period by counting instead of using an app. Our next cycle should be a better shot at it. This time I only temped a bit towards the end but I was in the TTC trenches and obsessed with timing, diet, opks, fertility monitor, and everything under the sun. I really wanted to ditch all of it but my doctor wants me to use progesterone again and I have to chart to know when to start taking it. I've noticed my cycle is messed up again this time around so I don't think I'd get pregnant without it :( I'm glad you can take things easy and let it just happen. With C I charted to avoid for a few months after going off the pill, then I charted (temps only) ad made sure to Dtd during the right times and such. I was so nervous it would take a long time. Luckily we didn't have any issues so I think I'll be able to be more laid back next time. But we had a time frame we were aiming for, and it worked out really well- we got lucky. For number two we won't do any of that, because there isn't really a time frame. I had a Fertility Friend account, downloaded a phone app, took my temperature every morning, checked CM (I drew the line at CP!) and used at least £30 of OPKs (not to mention at least £35 worth of HPTs!!) when we were TTC E - right from the beginning!! </p> <p>Now we're considering #2 and I just don't think I'm going to go down that road this time - not immediately, anyway. </p> <p>Did you do exactly the same as before or did you try something different? Were you more chilled about TTC#2+ or were you less relaxed from the get go? </p>
