@avivoca: Ahh, bummer! I preline all of my Grovia inserts but those are different and can hold the liner in place. Wish your daycare could help ya out! :(

@autumnlove: I use inserts and covers so the liner wouldn't stay on if I pre lined.

I'm hoping the poops become more solid, bc they are pretty gross right now. The liners only catch part of it, and I end up having to also dunk in the toilet. Hence considering a sprayer...

We use a sprayer and need it right now. Hopefully the poops will get more solid and we can plunk them because it is not my favorite chore...

@avivoca: Hah, L does this too. I even leave her diaper on an extra 20 minutes or so after she wakes up, but she has to wait for the fresh diaper to poop. 2 diaper changes within like 20 minutes, every day!

We use a sprayer with a spay-pal - or just plop it into the toilet. We were going to try liners but for us spraying is easier since the poops are not all that often and I didn't want to put a liner in all the diapers for daycare.

We have a hose with a spray nozzle hooked up to our utility sink, which is in our laundry area. We rarely need to use it. Usually her poops are pretty formed and just come out with a little shake.

My toilet won't accommodate a sprayer, so I have a dedicated poop spatula that I hang on the side of the toilet and wash after every poop. I use liners overnight but she usually waits until after I've changed her in the morning to poop.

Daycare won't use liners, so I always have a huge mess to scrape out of the diaper when she goes there.

@grizz: Same - I've used our sprayer maybe 5 times in 16 months?

I can just turn the diaper over and the poop falls off.

@Cole: Hah, if you do it wrong, yes, yes it does send out a big nasty spray mess. You need VERY light pressure from the sprayer, and you have to do it slow! And start it on a clean part of the diaper and move down to the mess. It takes a little... learning... to figure it out :bummed:

Forgive this sort of gross question but does the sprayer send particles flying? We are planning on cloth diapering but I am hoping I like liners because I am a bit worried about the sprayer.

We dunk in the toilet when it's too sticky to just roll off the diaper. I guess it was gross at first, but now it's just a part of everyday life. Ha...

I have thought about getting a sprayer, but it seems messy. Also, a friend of mine had one and it broke while they were at dinner one night. They came home to a completely soaked bathroom (had to replace the ceiling, etc). That's always deterred me, too.

We have a diaper sprayer, but have probably used it twice. Once he started eating more solid foods, he started having solid poop too so I just plop it in the toilet.
