sometimes LO sleeps with me when she is really fussy. We have her crib pushed against our bed and I put her close to the top of the bed and near the crib with a pillow shoved where there is a little bit of space. She's pretty good when she sleeps with me. I cannot put her in the middle because DH is a crazy sleeper.

@oliviaoblivia: we considered the side car but we would need a second crib. i am a WOHM and i need 7-9pm to prep for the next day so he needs to be in his own safe space for those few hours. after that i am comfortable bringing him to bed. he usually just snuggles into me but i am always worried that he'll roll off the bed if he's on the outside. i considered bed up against the wall too which is not out of the question yet either.

we didn't plan on co sleeping so this is all new!

@littlebittyhouse: two months. If she were capable of climbing shed be out do of the co-sleeper in a second! I've seen people side-car a crib next to the bed. That might work better than a guard rail, which won't be much higher than the rail on a cosleeper.

@oliviaoblivia: how old is your LO? We have an 8mo old so I am afraid if he rolls into the co sleeper he'll try to climb out!

My baby hasn't started rolling yet. I should go buy a guard rail too since I'm sure she'll be rolling soon.

We have an arms reach co-sleeper next to the bed. If she were to roll off our bed she'd roll into the co-sleeper.

Bed on floor, and we put his crib mattress on the floor next to the bed. You could also teach them to go butt first once they start crawlig, but I haven't tried (yet).

How do you keep your baby from rolling off the bed?

I am going to go buy a guard rail today at lunch so LO can sleep next to me and not in the middle of the bed.
