I love autumn with the cool, crispness to the air, the colours, the activities (apple orchards, pumpkin patches etc). I might add an extra month of summer though.</p> <p>In MN the winters are brutal, not only are they long, but they are freezing cold. We often get our first snow in late October, and snow through March for sure and this year well into May! In addition temps are usually 0 or below 0 for a good 2-3 months. </p> <p>In spring it rains every day and then summer comes it's humid and hot until fall. Fall is MN's redeeming quality. I do not miss winter and summer is totally fine as long as we can jump in some water (pool or ocean) almost daily. But now that summer is in full swing and it's so hot and humid, I already kind of miss winter! </p> <p>If I could divide up the seasons, I would do it like this:</p> <p>January - June - Spring (low 70's)<br /> July - Summer (80's - 90's)<br /> August - October - Fall (60's)<br /> November - December - Winter (40's)</p> <p>Now that I have kids, spring is really the best season. Warm and not too hot, but lots of sun to get out and do things. Summer is just too hot, and winter is 6 months long here. I wish spring were 6 months long!</p> <p>How would you divide up the seasons? </p>
