They're very openly disapproving of my lifestyle (moving above the Mason Dixon line, marrying an atheist and being a liberal are the big three). My brother, who I used to be super close with, called me on my wedding day and told me I was going to hell for marrying "that atheist". I got the same song and dance from several of them about DS--he's going to spend eternity burning because DH and I aren't religious and aren't going to baptize him. </p> <p>It's sad, but it's the best for me and my little family to not let that sort of hate anywhere near DS.
