I made the mistake of testing at 10dpo and didn't know if it was the trigger or a true bfp. There was just no way I could wait until the beta and especially because I wanted to know at home on my terms, not be told by a stranger. I'd rather know either way by doing my own test than waiting for a phone call. I can't handle the suspense. It made me way more anxious to sit around wondering if I was if wasn't. And betas were kind of late for me 15 or 16dpo, I forget. She can usually tell if The patient got good or bad news just from the way they act at that first beta. However, my advice is to save yourself the anxiety and either test out your trigger (if you're doing one) or wait to test until at least 12dpo. It felt great because I wasn't focused on trying. I, also, don't symptom spot. You will find at least one person with that same symptom and they were pregnant. Of course, none of the symptoms apply to me.
