Everybody and their dog came to the hospital, and I have a solo shot of every single person (DH, each grandparent, both our sisters and their spouses, my grandmother, three of my aunts, my cousin and each of her two kids) and the baby EXCEPT me. Not even included in a group shot. I was super mad, and my mom was just like "well, you didn't ask anybody to take your picture".</p> <p>So, I was annoyed with all those people that should have known the MOTHER of the baby should probably have her photo taken. My husband talked to our wedding photographer and he is more than willing to come out and do the shoot for us. He's someone we've known and trusted for a long time so I'm looking forward to it. I'd buy the images you want, as you're right, you can't ever get back that time to have newborn pictures redone, but I would then leave negative feedback on whatever site, and also potentially lodge a formal complaint in writing - whether to a professional body he's a part of or the BBB if you can prove that he deliberately acted so unprofessionally.</p> <p>Either way, I'm sorry. I was in maybe some group shots and only hanging over DH's shoulder. When we saw the photos today I was appalled to see that there really were a ton of photos of him and the baby and only one of me from afar with the baby.</p> <p>When we pointed this out to the photographer, he showed me one with MY HANDS and said I was in that one. WHAT THE. I've been upset because I feel like he cut me out to get back at me for a previous conflict we had and also because it reminded me of how I have no photos with my mom growing up since she has been gone since I was a baby. </p> <p>Would it upset you if the photographer left you out of all the photos?</p> <p>ETA: Also we're torn because if we don't buy the images we don't have the photos of J. It's not really about the money. But the set of images upsets me. </p>
