Eeek that sounds tough. Lo1 sttn 7-8 hrs at about 3 months, 10 hrs at 4.5-5 months... But regressed every other month, sometimes pretty crappily! (That's not a word, is it?)

My second is about 5 months and has usually 1-2 wake ups the past week. The week or so before it was every hour. I don't know if that was just the 4 month regression or what, but I don't see him sttn til at least 6m when we start solids? Maybe that's wishful thinking. He occasionally does 7-8 hrs but since we don't wake him up for a 10pm feed like we did with lo1 it's usually still a motn wake up.

Oh yikes. DS slept through the night at two months. He did have a few months where he woke up at 2 AM every night because of molars, but then everything went back to normal.

DD (7 months) has randomly slept through the night a few times, but mostly she sleeps like a newborn. Up every two hours, and I don't have the energy to fight her on it, so I nurse her to sleep or just give up and bring her into our bed. She's not even trying to fall asleep on her own, even though I know she can :bummed: But she's an awful eater during the day now that I'm at work, plus she's sick, so she may well be hungry and miserable and I'll just roll with it for now...

We did sleep train but only for getting through sleep cycles, not for STTN (after we trained, she was still waking to nurse at least 2 times per night). She slept through on her own at 10 months.

12 weeks for DD1 and eight weeks for DD2. DD3 is down to one feed overnight so hopefully she's like her big sisters.
We still has rough patches with sleep even though they STTN early. Teeth, colds, and physical milestones always rocked the boat for a little while.

We never slept trained and lo probably sttn most of the time around 1ish? I'm not really sure to be honest! She's gone through phases of one wake up, early wake ups (4-5am fml!) But she's 23 months now and has been sttn pretty consistently for several months now. I have to say, untying nursing from sleep by having dh do bedtime and middle of the night wake ups made a huge difference-- she stopped those early wake ups if he was the one who went in (she would be up w me trying to play for over an hr vs going back to sleep immediately for him)

We did some sleep training with both, but only in the sense that we cut out the sleep associations before bedtime (ie: no rocking or nursing within 20 mins of bedtime, but still nursing overnight). DS STTN at 9mos and DD is 16.5 mos and still not consistently STTN.

She was 25 months when she first STTN but it still isn't consistent at 31 months - at best she does it 3-4 nights a week but she she's sick, teething, overtired or unsettled (basically, all the time), she wakes every night, often several times. She currently has a cold and, last night, she was up at 8pm, 9pm, 10.30pm, 12, 4.15am, 5am and 7am. Brutal.

I'll let you know...

Actually he slept through from about 6 weeks-4 months! And never has since. We bed share and I have no clue how often he wakes up at 14 months. My guess: bed at 8, sometimes wake up before I sleep around 12, other times sleep till 1a at the latest. Then probably wake every 2 hours minimum until 7-8 but it's just a quick cry and then latch on :$

Around 8 mos. One day she just seemed to figure it out. There have been the usual regressions for illness/travel/teething, and one I think was related to a skills explosion around 14 mos, but she always found her way back to sleeping through. (LO is 16 mos now.)

We don't sleep train. LO1 STTN at 13 months once I stopped feeding her at her wake up. LO2 STTN at 5 months once he learned to roll back to belly and has STTN ever since on his tummy. But he is a baby with magical sleeping powers so I think that is more of the exception than the rule.

My first started sleeping through consistently subject to illness at 8-9 months. He did it occasionally from 5 months on. He was formula fed after 4.5 months.

My second would do it for a few nights here and there from 6-12 months, mostly when sick! He started doing it a little more after 12 months, but it would be for a week, then not again for three weeks, etc. It wasn't consistent until a few months after we weaned. We weaned at 13.5 months and he slept through consistently starting at 14 months. Still subject to illness, and he seems more prone to wakings when cutting a tooth.

ETA - I didn't have to sleep train DS1 but I definitely let him fuss it out at night. I would go to him after 5 mins or so if he didn't work it out. We DID try and sleep train DS2 around 10 months maybe? It didn't work. We did Ferber, but he kept waking and it was just brutal so I just nursed him back to sleep until we weaned. Once we weaned I fed him a little bit of a bottle overnight when he woke and then he stopped waking for that.
