My body cleared itself out at the beginning of my labor. I started taking the Colace right after I had ds. Even with the Colace I don't think I went until 4-5 days after because I was so terrified. It wasn't too bad though. I did take them for a good long time after though. And I didn't poop for ... well I was at the hospital for 5 days, so... 6 or 7 days total (5 or 6 post partum).
