@Mrs. Champagne: sorry about the pain, I hope it's nothing serious! When will your ultrasound be? I hope that brings you some good news!

I'm still haven't had too many symptoms either. I let myself read too many posts on this site so now I'm pretty anxious for my US, which isn't for another 5 days at 9w1d. I keep telling myself that there's nothing I can do about it either way and that I should just relax. deep breaths. :)

I had a bunch of Wondfo strips :-P

I just told myself that, as long as I wasn't bleeding, everything was ok.

None.
Not until I started to feel the baby, then the only symptoms were kicks and flutters, hiccups and at the very end swelling (pre-e).

My friend gave me a home Doppler and after 13 weeks I could find the heartbeat pretty consistently. By 18 weeks I could feel/see kicks.

@Raz: thanks for asking! I feel exhausted! I saw anew doctor today and told her I have been having some pain on my left side. I think it's a cyst but she is sending me for an ultrasound. That should rule out some of my fears :)

In the beginning I stressed and took it out on my husband. But then I just let it go and trusted everything would be fine (trusted that with all the Dr visits anything bad would be noticied)

I didn't have any symptoms at all other than cramping which can be good or bad. I was freaking out for a month until I could see a doctor and get a dating scan at 9wks. I don't have a lot of advice on how to remain calm, but it's perfectly normal to not have symptoms and you're much more likely to STAY pregnant!

@BandDmommy: a bit. Never threw up but some days felt crummy I think. and had head aches. But I can't remember when they started.

@travelgirl1: the closest one is two hours away! Ugh.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll try to not worry and enjoy feeling well :)

@Mrs. Champagne: My first pregnancy I had zero symptoms until 7.5/8 weeks or so. I did have a bit of spotting around 6ish weeks though, ok, so maybe that was a 'symtom' but it totally freaked me out. Everything turned out ok!

My second pregnancy has also been really different from my first.

Try to remain positive! (Totally easier said than done, but try to keep busy)

@Mrs. Champagne: If you are worried, could you approach a private ultrasound clinic and pay for an ultrasound? That's what I did for this pregnancy. It was $140.

I didn't have much in the way of symptoms until about 8 weeks when I got the nausea ad exhaustion. I didn't worry much. I figure things are going to happen how they're going to happen and worrying doesn't help anything. And just makes me miserable in the meantime, so I just went along with the assumption that things were going fine until I had a reason to believe otherwise.

@Mrs. Champagne: That's really frustrating. How does this compare to your previous pregnancy at this stage? There are quite a few of us out there that just feel normal during early pregnancy and 4/5 times, everything is going to be a-okay. If you really don't have any recourse, do you have a mom-friend who might be able to meet in person to help put your mind at ease?

I'm not sure how things work in Canada but I am in the UK and the NHS doesn't do any scans until 12 weeks as standard. For my first pregnancy I paid for a private scan at 8 weeks - it cost me £75 which was well worth it at the time for the peace of mind. Not sure if that might be an option for you?

If it makes you feel any better, I'm about 7.5 weeks pregnant and don't really have any symptoms either.

Why the dating us? Do you think you may actually be a lot earlier than 6.5w? If you can trust your timing, take comfort in knowing that at 8w, miscarriage is really very, very rare. So about 1.5 more weeks and I wouldn't worry about it! Just be thankful you feel great!

@FliegepilzHut: it is my second.

I'm in Canada in a small town. Here we see a family doc until 28 weeks and then get a referral to the OB group. This doc (actually a nurse practitioner) is covering for mine who is on Mat Leave. I was/am quite upset about the no dating US. I'm not 100% sure of my dates at all. But she said "it's not necessary and I'm not comfortable ordering it".

I called every doc in town and no one is accepting new patients. I don't think I have a choice. :(

Also to get ultrasounds here they refer you to the hospital. They don't even have the machines at the doctors office!

I don't have early pregnancy symptoms...and I'm not very good at "not worrying." My symptoms have included mild breast tenderness, cramping, and subtle changes in gut motility. Is this a second pregnancy? If so, how satisfied are you with your OB's care? Refusal to do any early ultrasound would not fly well with me...maybe they would do one with your first appointment ~8 weeks-ish? :goodluck:

How did you remain calm that everything was ok?

I'm about 6.5 weeks I think and I pretty much have no symptoms. My doctor refuses a dating ultrasound, so I won't have anything confirming the pregnancy until 13 weeks

I'm getting worried. Any tips to keep calm? Anyone else have no symptoms?
