I think if i fed into it more, she could totally become obsessed. Instead we took the money we would have spent on her birthday party and went on a vacation. We are going to do the same thing this year! Money better spent. I just don't want any of the stuff! Or the responsibility of throwing the party and deciding who to invite. In my town bday parties are in rented out halls with like 30+ kids! I still made her a special Daniel Tiger cake and cupcakes with zoo toppers for daycare the next day. She had an absolute blast. I was worried about making it special for her but I think we did a good job! You saw the IG photos. ;)</p> <p>ETA: But I have to say she absolutely knew it was her birthday!!!! I think because right before hers was my FIL, then MIL then my nephews.
