Either I curl it and wear it down, or I braid it and pin it up. But I rarely "do" my hair. Usually it's either half up or all up and doesn't look really polished. I have a ton of hair and I'm lazy. When my hair was long, to do it, I'd blow it out about 90% dry so that it was still wavy, then define some more waves with the flat iron. It was a giant pain in the ass, and letting it sir dry resulted in a frizzy mess, which is why I chopped it all off. I've never worn my hair up, though. On the days I "do" it (aka. wash it) I usually wear it down, with a side part and the very front pieces from the part twisted to the side. I love them but my dh hates them. He said he feels like they are "disney princes hair" and not something grown women should wear.
