I was happy I did, because I was later diagnosed with chronic low supply and nothing I did would increase it, much. The free samples were a lifesaver and helped to buffer the costs our first few weeks of supplementing. This time I didn't want it in the house at all so IF ff wasn't medically necessary it would be more difficult for me to default or fall into using it. Or say I had to go on non-BF friendly meds or something. I have some frozen milk now but it's still a nice safety net. So far, we haven't had any issues breastfeeding but I like having one or two servings on hand in case of emergency. But, I got a 4 pack of the ready to use stuff in the hospital, and several boxes of samples in the mail. While I'd like to keep a little on hand I don't think I'll use it all, if any. I hear you can't actually donate it many places. </p> <p>So what did you do with any samples you got? Will pediatricians take it? I live in a mixed income neighborhood and I'm sure some of the parents at our ped would appreciate it. </p>
