Bel Canto was my first Ann Patchett novel and I ended up reading two of her others: Run (which was kind of forgettable) and State of Wonder (which I loved).</p> <p>I've read all of Tana French's novels but her most recent one. I've also read most of Ian McEwan's novels. I actually have a little noteook that lists all the books I want to read. Once I've read a couple of books by an author I like I usually keep track of that author and read everything they've ever written!</p> <p>Jodi piccoult, Emily giffin, Jennifer wiener are a few authors that come to mind who have many books each and I've read them all. I loved Ann Patchett's Bel Canto, but haven't gotten around to reading her other books. But I also love Michael Connelly, and have read everything he's ever written.</p> <p>I think for me, if I love a book in a series... then I'll read the whole series. If it's just a standalone book, then I won't always make the next step.
