Thanks :) I think of it as breastfeeding... Since I'm using my breasts to feed him! Lol, but I was kind of feeling like an impostor. The more I think about it though, even if he were latching and nursing, when I go back to work, he would be getting bottles and women go back to work all the time and I'd never say they weren't breast feeding.... Just wanted to see what others thought.

I usually just say yes. Whether he is getting it directly from the source or from bottles is no ones business!

I was able to breastfeed, but I wish more people understood how hard pumping is!

I would respond with "He is fed 100% breastmilk".

I say that I'm nursing if its a random person. If its a medical professional or a friend, I give more details.

Actually most of the time I say "both". I've only ever had one lady I don't know ask me that, and she was Chinese with a very thick accent and was telling me about her 3 month old daughter and asking me about when to give solid food, too. It was odd.

The LC said that EPing IS breastfeeding cuz all that matters is the milk, which is how I feel about it

How do you respond to questions like:

Breast or bottle? And, are you breastfeeding?
